Starter Website Design and Launch for Julia Yanker

This project will set up a WordPress site with the Thesis 2.1.9 theme giving us a solid basic architecture that can be easily expanded when the timing is right.

Here’s what this project estimate includes:

1. A 30 minute kick-off call with regular email status updates as needed.
2. One time licensing ($40 value) for the Thesis 2.1.9 theme.
3. Configuration and setup of your site on your CPanel hosting account including configuration of domain registration name servers to point to your Hosting Account.
4. A full page width site with the option of full page width, or two column content with 2/3 content and 1/3 sidebar.  A clean white background will be used to create the full browser width look.
5. A Footer area with copyright info and “site designed by websitesbymaryna.com” external link.
6. A footer / or sidebar widget area  with up to 4 widgets for social media links, MailChimp signup, etc.
7. A simple header design consisting of two different font types for Site Name (Julia Yanker) and Tagline (Live Life Untethered) with up to 3 design revisions.
8. Branding colors (purple, green, orange – or some variation) styled in heading fonts, link colors, navigation menu links, etc.
9. Configuration of a MailChimp account linking to the site.  This will include an invitation to join your mailing list (footer or sidebar area), as well as using the header image and branding colors in MailChimp templates to ensure a uniform look.
10. A full page width front page including images as selected.
11. Up to 6 content pages including a “Contact Me” type page and blog post links.
12. Basic WordPress plugins including Contact Form, Social Media sharing and Akismet to control spam.
13. Basic Responsive design that will adjust content to display well on cell phones and tablets.
14. A “How To” document describing how to write your own blog posts, make content updates to your site pages, and add images to posts.

Project Assumptions:

1. This project assumes that your site is hosted on a service with CPanel functionality and that you have a domain name registered.
2. I will need login access to your Hosting account, Domain Registrar, and MailChimp account.
3. You will select heading fonts and colors for the site.
4. I will set up the first draft of content pages with content you send in Word or Pages format and you can make edits and updates using the “How To” document customized specifically for your site.
5. Website content and navigation menu links will use standard built-in web safe fonts.
6. Additional work will be quoted as project add ons, or charged at an hourly rate of $75.
7. All work will be completed within a 2 week – 3 month time period by mutual agreement within those broad parameters.
