Project Scope

Create new design/style and WordPress Theme for betseydowning.com

Transfer site hosting from IonBlade to LiquidWeb.

This project will include 3 months of free managed WordPress Hosting and Security. After the initial 3 month period, you can sign up for annual or monthly hosting and see what’s included in that service here.

Set up a new theme using the Thesis framework. Betsey and Maryna will work together to come up with a Home Page style. Header styling will include “Betsey Downing” brand styling and colors along with the standard navigation links. The header and footer styling will then be applied throughout the rest of the site. Once the site has been completed, it will be easy to update and change styling as business needs grow and change.

A development site will be set up on LiquidWeb using a subdomain such as new.betseydowning.com. This means that betseydowning.com will not be affected at all during the development of the new look. Once development is complete, the changes will be moved to the main site and this will be done during night time on the East Coast time to ensure minimal disruption.

The new site will include built-in mobile friendly design to adjust well to devices like tablets and cell phones. Additional mobile friendly coding will be applied once the site is complete, to ensure that all content displays well on cell phones and tablets.

Content Updates

This project will include major content updates such as services offered, about page and a possible reorganization of the resources information. Betsey will provide the content for pages and Maryna will collaborate as needed. This includes updates to the content on the home page and in the footer area. The new site will include automated functionality for sign up for the first few courses/services that Betsey will offer in the next few months.

 

Project Quote: $1200 in 3 automated monthly installments of $400

The 3 equal payments will be spaced one month apart and will automatically be processed one month, and two months after the initial payment.
